It has just been announced that Think, ATM Consultant, Rory Hedman has been appointed as the co-chair of the CANSO Smart Digital Tower Task Force, having recently held the position of secretary of the SDT TF. Speaking about his new role Rory said:
“In my new role as Co-Chair, I am really looking forward to working more closely with CANSO and continuing to provide leadership to the Smart Digital Tower Task Force. Contributing to industry bodies such as this is something I have always enjoyed. The exchange of knowledge and experiences that takes place is invaluable to helping to drive concept development, innovation and to set a path for others. This is something that greatly benefits concepts such as Digital Tower, where there is uniqueness to each implementation and scope to operate the technologies in a wide variety of ways. In this case it is vital to learn from others, share good practice and develop guidance materials.
Currently, the SDT TF is working hard producing materials to assist CANSO members and the wider community. The aim is for this to include a user-focused document intended to introduce Digital Tower concepts and discuss the key aspects to consider within a Digital Tower programme. I look forward to continuing to work closely with Niclas as co-chair in driving the SDT TF forward to achieve our aims.”
