Two of our team are currently delivering a 3-month programming session to Duke Of Edinburgh participants in order to help achieve their Bronze award. As part of their Skills requirements, and with the use of a car building kit, they are teaching the children the basics of programming.
The course has started with the initial car build and simple programming of the cars movements and will move onto creating functions and controlling the speed. The course will finish up with incorporating sensors onto the car to avoid objects, track lines and even controlling the car via Bluetooth.
It’s great that we can do something to help these kids but we suspect that Peter and James are having just as much fun!
