With SESAR simulations coming thick and fast and workload assessment being a key user acceptance indicator it’s not just our Human Performance consultants who are being kept busy. Our relaunched iSA application has gained another new user in May, adding to an incredibly successful first 6 months of use.
The client (a SESAR member) will be running an En-Route simulation in May/June and their current simulator platform lacked the ability to take measurements of perceived controller workload. Less than 4 weeks after first enquiry from the client, a member of our team visited the simulation facility to install the hardware and provide training. Six touch input tablets have been rented to the client allowing them to gain an data collection and measurement capability without having to develop a new system or purchase any new hardware. This brings the whole cost of providing this capability well within the reach of every simulation platform.
